Step1: First of all make sure that Google Chrome is not currently running on your computer because you cant start the uninstall process till its closed. (That one in particular is not on my computer.) What other ones are there, or is there a place I can find a list of the most common ones? What would you call this type of software - "surfing protection"? I'm not familiar with programs like Advanced System Care.
